Our transportation tax $$$ recklessly wasted, so there is no need to vote for Kotek’s $4.3 billion gas tax Measure 120.
Here are 8 ODOT bludners:
- $1.1 billion over-budget Rose Quarter project (1)
- $565 million over-budget I-205 Abernethy Bridge (2)
- $500 million over-budget Hood River Bridge (3)
- $200 million to study I-5 bridge never built (4)
- $200 million over-budget Hwy 20 Eddyville (5)
- $134 million for costly car-free (bus only) bridge (6)
- $61 million to study tolling (7)
- $19 million for costly car-free bridge over busy Hwy (8)
This type of over-budget blunders and mis-spending has gone on for decades! It won’t stop until voters say enough! Take charge of your transportation dollars by demanding fiscal discipline before you approve of higher taxes.
Vote No on Measure 120.
