PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Activists opposed to an Oregon transportation funding bill that would hike gas taxes in 2026 began a petition drive two weeks ago to gather signatures to put the issue on the ballot. They needed to collect 78,000 signatures by the end of December.
The group No Tax Oregon announced Tuesday they’ve collected 150,000 so far. And they intend to keep collecting signatures until December 20.
