AAA on April 9th put Oregon at over $5.00 a gallon gas. This is because of our high state gas tax and our hidden gas taxes through backdoor carbon fees.
Now Measure 120 is on the May Primary Ballot. This is a massive gas tax hike, DMV fee increase and payroll wage tax increase.
People need to vote NO to stop this gas tax.
Previously Governor Kotek and the liberal Legislature approved this tax, but a referendum drive stopped the tax and forced a public vote (something the politicians refused to do). If it was not for the gas tax referendum, that gas tax hike would have become law and you would have been paying higher gas prices since January 1, of this year. Instead the referendum put the issue to voters (which all taxes should be done).
Vote NO on Measure 120 to stop the gas tax.
